Minnesota Volleyball Team Ranked No. 13 in CSTV/AVCA Poll

The Minnesota volleyball team is ranked No. 13 in the CSTV/AVCA Top 25 poll, which was released on Monday, Sept. 29. The Golden Gophers received 774 points in this week’s poll.
Minnesota has now been ranked in the top-25 for every week of September since the 2003 season.
The Golden Gophers are among six Big Ten teams that were ranked in this week’s poll. Penn State is No. 1, Purdue is No. 18, Illinois is ranked No. 19, Wisconsin sits at No. 20 and Michigan is No. 22. The Big Ten is tied with the Pac-10 for the most teams in the top 25 with six.
Minnesota will make its first Big Ten road trip of the season when it heads to No. 18 Illinois and No. 19 Purdue. The Golden Gophers will face the Illini on Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. Minnesota will wrap up the two-match road strip at Purdue on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. Both matches can be heard on gophersports.com.
