Former Gopher Standouts Featured in Volleyball Magazine

Former Golden Gopher volleyball standouts and 2008 Olympians, Lindsey Berg and Nicole Branagh were each featured in a recent issue of Volleyball Magazine.
Both players were featured in the May, 2009 issue of Volleyball Magazine. The story about Berg focuses on her career and her passion for fashion off the court. Branagh's story talks about her maturation as a beach volleyball player and chronicles a routine day in her life.
Berg was the setter on the 2008 Olympic Silver Medal team in Beijing this past summer, while Branagh teamed with Elaine Youngs as one of the two U.S. Olympic Beach women's volleyball teams in Beijing.
Berg and Branagh played with each other at the University of Minnesota from 1998-2000, and were one of only three combinations of college teammates in beach and indoor volleyball to represent the United States in the Olympics.
Minnesota's two senior transfers Taylor Carico and Megan Wilson also made news as part of the May, 2009 issue of Volleyball Magazine.
