Gophers-Nittany Lions Kickoff Time Announced

The Big Ten Conference has announced a starting time and television plans for the University of Minnesota’s football game at Penn State.
The Golden Gophers will play the Nittany Lions in State College, Pa. on Oct. 17. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. CT). The Minnesota-Penn State clash will be televised on ABC.
The Gophers now have five start times for the 2009 campaign. Minnesota’s home opener vs. Air Force on Sept. 12 will begin at 6 p.m. CT. The Gophers’ Oct. 10 Homecoming game with Purdue is slated for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff, as is the Oct. 24 game at Ohio State. Minnesota will also host Michigan State in a 7 p.m. CT game on Oct. 31.
