Blog: Week One of Soccer Practice in the Books

The Golden Gopher soccer team wrapped up their first week of practice today (Aug. 12), ending the day's session with short scrimmage.

GopherSports.com was there to catch of the action and got some reaction from juniors Kylie Kallman (Woodbury, Minn.) and Molly Rouse (Cambridge, Minn.) about the first week and the fast approaching home opener on Aug. 21 against South Dakota State.

A week in, the players look as if they are getting a feel for each other, and the sediment was echoed by both Kallman and Rouse.  Each also expressed their excitement about getting the season underway.
