Fall Camp Blog: Tabitha Love

Well, today we had our Maroon vs. Gold scrimmage at the Sports Pavilion. We arrived for our first pregame meal of the season made by none other than our wonderful chefs; Bill and Frieda! Once we had finished, we went down to the locker room for some brief down time before having a team meeting regarding the upcoming sets. We were informed of the lineups, and the itinerary for the rest of the night. After the meeting, we went and changed into our uniforms before hitting the court. First we were introduced to our ADORABLE shagging crew. We were able to get to know each other briefly before having to report back to our bench.
Between Megan and the Wilsonettes and Jasmine's "Freshmen Rap" the crowd was very entertained by our pre game show! Head coach, Mike Hebert, then explained several key aspects of the game, with help from the players as a demonstration. Finally came warm up and then the scrimmage!!! I think team Maroon ended up coming out on top, but the games were so fun and intense that I can't even say for sure. An autograph session was held following the game, where we signed our beautiful signatures all over the 2009-2010 season posters. Great day!!
