Today we had the morning off. We met for lunch at Noodles and Company which was wonderul even though I did miss Bill and Frida's home cooked meals.

After lunch, we had a brief meeting with our academic advisor. We followed that with a scouting meeting. Since neither Kansas State or Nebraska have played, we instead decided to scout how to beat Minnesota. We discussed Minnesota's strengths and weaknesses, lineup, and plays they run. This exercise not only allowed us new players to understand how a scouting meeting goes, but it also allowed the team to understand what we need to improve. After our meeting we briefly went over our pre-game warm up and then worked on a few final touch ups before the big weekend! We perfected our offensive connections, worked on blocking alignments, served, and then closed practice with a scrimmage drill.

We also met our new practice player Ryan, but the most exciting part of the day was getting our new travel gear. The sweats are so comfortable and we got Nike track shorts! After practice we all had a team dinner at applebees! The food was wonderful and it appeared that the honey barbeque chicken salad was a favorite!
