Gophersports.com will be running a live blog during tonight's match with Minnesota. The Golden Gophers defeated No. 22 Kansas State in five sets last night by scores of 25-19, 25-16, 29-31, 24-26, 15-11. In the other match, No. 16 Michigan defeated No. 3 Nebraska in three sets at home by scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-17. The Big Ten got off to a solid start last night, as Minnesota, Michigan and Michigan State all had wins over ranked teams. The Spartans defeated USC in five sets at home to go with the victories by the Golden Gophers and Wolverines in the AVCA Showcase last night.
