Gophers Hoese, Klitzke Awarded Scholarships

University of Minnesota head football coach Tim Brewster has announced that former walk-ons Jon Hoese (Jr., Glencoe, Minn.) and Bryan Klitzke (So., Chippewa Falls, Wis.) have been awarded scholarships for the 2009-10 school year.

"Jon and Bryan are examples of the kinds of student-athletes we want in our football program," Brewster said. "They do the right things on the field, in the classroom and in the community. I couldn't be more pleased to reward both of these guys for their hard work, dedication and loyalty to the Gopher football program."
