Team Notes
* - The win matched Minnesota's largest margin of victory over Purdue, equaling a 115-88 victory on March 10, 1983. Purdue had won six of the previous seven meetings.
* - Minnesota forced Purdue into a season-high 32 turnovers. The Boilermakers had turnovers on 11 of their last 16 possessions of the first half and their first three possessions of the second half.
* - Purdue's 17 first-half turnovers were nearly as many as its Big Ten season high of 18 on Dec. 5 against Northwestern. Purdue entered the game leading the Big Ten in fewest turnovers in conference games at 14.8 per game.
