Gophers Honored With Big Ten Accolades

Three University of Minnesota football players have earned Honorable Mention All-Big Ten accolades. On Monday, the Big Ten Conference announced its All-Big Ten teams -- one voted on by selected media and one voted on by the league's coaches.
Minnesota senior center D.J. Burris was an honorable mention selection of both the media and the coaches. Junior defensive back Troy Stoudermire and junior linebacker Gary Tinsley also received the recognition in the media voting.
The Gophers wrapped up their 2010 season this past Saturday. Minnesota finished the season 3-9, but won its last two games of the season. The Gophers will open the 2011 season vs. USC in Los Angeles on Sept. 3, 2011.
