UPDATE: TCF Bank Stadium Nearly Clear of Snow

University of Minnesota Athletics would like to thank the remarkable efforts of the great Minnesotans who have helped to clear close to 30,000 cubic yards of snow from inside TCF Bank Stadium over the past two days.Shoveling in temperatures that never got out of the teens, workers have cleared nearly all the snow from the stadium’s seating bowl, an amazing accomplishment considering the task at hand.
Those efforts, combined with the overwhelming response Gopher Athletics received from the community, have significantly reduced the number of workers needed for Friday’s final clean-up push.
As of Thursday night, all available working positions for Friday have been filled, and employment agencies informed Gopher Athletics that they are no longer accepting workers for the stadium project.
The University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Vikings and the NFL would like to salute the efforts of all the workers at TCF Bank Stadium. We could not have pulled off this incredible feat with out you!
