The Gophers opened the 2010 season with a split against Western Illinois on Feb. 11, winning 2-1, and falling 4-2.

Western Illinois overcame a 3-0 deficit and beat Arkansas 5-4 on a walk off single in the bottom of the seventh.

Iowa State used a four-run third inning to cruise to a 5-2 win over Drake.

Dannie Skrove led the way in another eight inning win, with a homerun as well as the game-winning RBI on a sac fly in the final at-bat of the Gophers 6-5 win over Iowa State.

After four scoreless innings, Drake scored five runs in the fifth and sixth for a 5-0 win over Minnesota.

Deadlocked at 1-1, Arkansas scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth, and then held off an Iowa rally in the top of the seventh for the 2-1 win.

Iowa scored first in the fourth, and added a worthwhile insurance run in the sixth as they closed the day's action with a 2-1 win over Western Illinois.

Arkansas tied the game with a run in the top of the sixth, but Drake manufactured the game-winner run in the next half inning on their way to a 2-1 win.

Another walk-off win for Western Illinois they knocked in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh to beat Iowa State 5-4.

A four-run third inning was more than enough for Lacey Middlebrooks, who allowed just one, as the Gophers beat Arkansas 4-1.

Drake scored twice in the fifth to take a one-run lead, but Iowa put together a seventh inning rally, scoring two runs of their own for the 3-2 walk-off win.

Iowa State scored four runs in the first inning and rolled in the softball edition of the CyHawk series, winning 8-2 over Iowa.

Arkansas opened their final game of the weekend with a threr-run first inning on their way to a 4-2 win over Iowa State.

Iowa allowed three runs in the top of the first inning, but responded with two of their own in the bottom half, then blew the game open with five in the third as they beat Drake 7-3.

Iowa State scored two-runs in the top of the seventh and then held off the Gophers in the bottom of the inning for a 6-5 come-from-behind win.
