OVERVIEW: Listed as the No. 43 player in Louisiana by Rivals.com • ranked the No. 29 player in the state of Louisiana by SuperPrep •rated as the No. 67 outside linebacker in the nation by ESPN and Scouts Inc. • pass rushing ability can create havoc on the perimeter • active defender has a great motor • good ability to penetrate the offensive line with a solid first step • can string out running plays • good hands allow him to shed blocks • good range and back-side chase speed • has been clocked at 4.6 in the 40-yard dash.
HIGH SCHOOL: Currently attends Edna Karr High School • helped lead his team to an 11-2 record in 2009 • team advanced to the third round of the state playoffs • earned Class 4A all-state honors in both 2008 and 2009 • also named back-to-back all-metro and all-district • named his team's Defensive Player of the Year • recorded 86 total tackles last season • racked up 39 tackles for loss and 18 sacks in 2009 • holds the Edna Karr High School record for season and career sacks • coached by Jabbar Juluke.
