OVERVIEW: Ranked as the No. 79 safety in the country by Rivals.com • listed as the No. 6 player in Indiana by Rivals • rated as the No. 37 safety in the nation by ESPN and Scouts Inc. • rated as the No. 50 safety in the country by Scout.com • listed as the No. 86 player in the Midwest by SuperPrep • earned three-star rankings from both Rivals and Scout • skills allow him to play either safety or corner • plays the deep ball well• has good timing when going up for interceptions or deflections • solid tackler who shows aggression when coming up in run support • high motor guy, who plays with great effort on every play • appears to enjoy contact, often exploding through the ball carrier and finishing tackles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Currently attends Warren Central High School • helped lead his team to a 13-2 record and a state championship in 2009 • the Warriors defeated Carmel High School 42-36 in double overtime to take the Indiana 5A title • earned Honorable Mention All-State honors from the Associated Press • played for the Mainland squad in the 2009 Aloha Prep Classic in Hawaii • tallied 115 tackles to rank No. 3 on the squad last season • racked up three interceptions, 10 pass break-ups, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble in 2009 • recorded 45 tackles, two interceptions, four pass break-ups and a blocked field goal as a junior in 2008 • coached by John Hart.
