OVERVIEW: Earned a three-star ranking from Rivals.com and ESPN Scouts Inc.• ranked as the No. 22 running back in the nation by ESPN and Scouts Inc. • exciting player possesses size and speed for the running back position • in addition to skills as a ball-carrier, shows ability to make plays as a receiver • very quick to the hole • good vision • slashing style makes him capable of the big play • good burst at the second level • good balance and ability to accelerate in a crowd • adjusts to the ball well as a receiver and shows soft hands • has been timed at 4.5 in the 40-yard dash.
HIGH SCHOOL: Currently attends Taravella High School • team finished with a 4-6 record in 2009 • named Broward County Player of the Year by the Miami Sun-Sentinel • two-time all-state and all-county selection • led Broward County in rushing yards as both a junior and senior • topped the 200-yard mark in four games last season • rushed for 1,835 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2009 • toted the pigskin 241 times for 1,622 yards and 19 scores in 2008 as a junior • rushed for more than 1,300 yards and 11 scores as a sophomore • coached by Dan Marguriet.
