Minnesota Sweeps Through Arizona State Tournament

The Minnesota volleyball team swept through a spring tournament that was hosted by Arizona State on Saturday, Mar. 20.
Minnesota defeated the University of Calgary 27-25 and 25-20, and swept Arizona State 25-15-25-20 in the first session of matches. In the second session of matches, the Golden Gophers defeated Calgary 25-22, 25-19 and won in three sets over the Sun Devils 25-21, 25-15, 25-19.
On Saturday, Mar. 27, Minnesota head to Iowa State where it will face Iowa State, Kansas State, North Dakota State and Northern Iowa. The Golden Gophers will also host 2009 National Finalist Texas on Saturday, Apr 10 at 7 p.m. in Sports Pavilion, and will also host 2009 Regional Finalist Nebraska on Saturday, Apr. 24 at 4 p.m.
