Minnesota junior reliever Scott Fern (Eau Claire, Wis.) helped gophersports.com take a behind the scenes look the Golden Gopher baseball team's experience at Target Field.

Fern with some help from teammates and team personnel shot some footage prior to the game, along with some interviews, of the team's experience at Target Field.

The 36,056 fans that attended Target Field on Saturday, Mar. 27 from 9:15 a.m. all the way through the conclusion of the Minnesota-Louisiana Tech game marked the second-largest attendance in college baseball history. The largest crowd came when 40,106 fans saw San Diego State and Houston play at Petco Park on Mar. 11, 2004. Saturday's crowd and some highly attended Dairy Queen Classic games earlier in the year helped vault Minnesota to 10th on the National Attendance list with 3,493 fans per home contest for the Golden Gophers.

It was the highest attended college game of the year topping the 14,558 fans who saw UCLA and USC play at Dodger Stadium on Feb. 28, 2010.
