Gophers Will Host Two Prime Time Games in 2010

TCF Bank Stadium and the University of Minnesota football team will host two prime-time games during the upcoming 2010 football season.
The Golden Gophers will host Northern Illinois on Sept. 25 in a game that will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT and air on the Big Ten Network. Minnesota's Big Ten Conference tilt with Ohio State on Oct. 30 will be televised by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 with the network to be announced later. The Gopher-Buckeye game will kick off at 7 p.m. CT.
More game times will be announced in the coming weeks. Homecoming game times and broadcast partners are scheduled to be announced May 1. Meanwhile, game times and television plans for the first three weeks of the season are currently scheduled to be announced July 1.
Minnesota opens the 2010 season Sept. 2 at Middle Tennessee State. The Gophers' home opener will be Sept. 11 vs. South Dakota. USC visits TCF Bank Stadium on Sept. 18.
