Blog: Weber Preps for Season at Manning Academy

University of Minnesota senior quarterback Adam Weber performed well by many accounts this past weekend at the Manning Passing Academy. It was Weber's second straight appearance at the camp run by the Eli, Peyton and Archie Manning.
Weber said the second time around was even better than the first, especially since he was more prepared for the weather in southern Louisiana, where the Mannings hold their camp.
"I was prepared for the heat down in Thibodaux, Louisiana," Weber said. "That was not so much of a shocker this year, as it was last year."
On a serious note, Weber was happy with how he performed and feels his experience at the Manning Passing Academy will be a good jump-start toward his 2010 season.
"I've been working at it hard," Weber said. "I came off of last year not feeling very good about my personal performance, but also as a complete offense. I came away feeling very, very confident and I felt good about how I threw. I felt very comfortable out there and that's what gives me a little bit more energy for these last couple weeks to get things going for two-a-days."
The video above includes more from Weber about the Manning Passing Academy, as well as his take on the Gophers' summer workouts.
