FBC's Hoops Scramble VIII Set for Friday

The Fastbreak Club, the organization that supports Gopher women’s basketball, will hold its annual golf fundraising event -- Hoops Scramble VIII -- at Crystal Lake Golf Course in Lakeville this Friday, August 13. The golf scramble will begin at Noon with a shotgun start, and will be followed by dinner and the ever-famous silent and live auctions. Head coach Pam Borton and selected players will take part in the day's activities. Last year, the event raised $50,000 to help support the Golden Gophers' women's basketball program.
