The luncheon, emceed by ESPN's Rece Davis, featured Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delaney, all 11 head coaches and Purdue wide receiver Keith Smith, who spoke on behalf of the players.
In addition to talking about the prospects for the upcoming season, Brewster acknowledged University of Minnesota President Robert Bruininks, who is retiring next summer, and congratulated former Wisconsin head coach Barry Alvarez on his upcoming induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. He also highlighted his team's impressive home schedule which includes games against USC, Penn State, Ohio State and Iowa.
With Big Ten Media Days behind them, the Golden Gophers will begin fall training camp on Friday. Brewster will hold his annual training camp press conference at Noon on Thursday. The press conference can be watched live in the Gold Zone here at Gophersports.com.
