Gophers Prepare to Start Fall Practice

The Minnesota volleyball team had several meetings today in preparation for the beginning of fall practice on Monday, Aug. 9. The Golden Gophers also had their team picture taken today as well.
Minnesota will have its first team practice on Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Golden Gophers will also practice from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 9. The Golden Gophers will be scheduled to have the same practice schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 10 and Wednesday, Aug. 11.
After having the day off on Thursday, Aug. 12, the Golden Gophers will have practice from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, Saturday, Aug. 14 and Sunday, Aug. 15.
Minnesota will have its media day on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 2:45 p.m. and will host Volleyball 101 on 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. that night. The Golden Gophers' first match of the season will be against Denver on Friday, Aug. 27 at 8 p.m. as part of the Gopher Invite.
Gophersports.com also caught up to Minnesota Head Coach Mike Hebert the day before fall practice began to talk to him about the team's preparation for the upcoming season.
