Game Times, BTN Streaming Schedule Announced

The University of Minnesota women's basketball team has announced its remaining 2010-11 game times, along with the fact that 15 of the Golden Gophers' games this season will be streamed live on BigTenNetwork.com.
With the exception of the contest against Wisconsin on Jan. 20, which is set to start at 7:30 p.m., all of the Gophers' weekday night home games will tip off at 7:00 p.m. (CT). The Gophers also will play seven regular season home games on Sundays, with all but the team's Best Buy Classic and Subway Classic contests beginning at 2:00 p.m. (CT). The two tournaments will have Sunday schedules consisting of a 1:00 p.m. consolation game, followed by the championship contest at 3:30 p.m.
As previously announced, head coach Pam Borton's Gophers will have a total of five games televised live on Big Ten Network -- at Illinois for the Big Ten-opener on Dec. 30; at Wisconsin on Jan. 9; at home against Wisconsin on Jan. 20; at Iowa on Feb. 10; and at Northwestern on Feb. 20. Minnesota will also have its Dec. 5 game at Baylor televised live on FOX Sports Southwest.
In addition, 11 home games at Williams Arena and four Big Ten Conference road games will be streamed live on BigTenNetwork.com and will be available for fans to purchase. Last year, there was a $2.99 charge to watch any single streamed broadcast. This year, there are four options: a monthly school pass ($7.95), a monthly conference pass ($12.95), an annual school pass ($64.95), or an annual conference pass ($99.95). Minnesota opens its 2010-11 schedule with a pair of exhibition games versus Southwest Minnesota State (Nov. 3) and UM Crookston (Nov. 7) before it begins its regular season by facing Northern Illinois in the opening game of the Best Buy Classic on Nov. 13.
