Traffic Advisory for Minnesota-Purdue Match

The University of Minnesota Athletic Department is issuing a traffic advisory for the volleyball match that will feature Minnesota and Purdue at the Sports Pavilion on Friday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m.
The advisory is due to the Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday evening. University Avenue will be closed from approximately 6:00pm to 9:30pm. Fan and staff members will be able to access the University Avenue Ramp if they arrive prior to the closure of the street.
Following the match, they will be directed to exit the ramp via the bus lane to Walnut St (driving the wrong way on the one-way street) and out to Washington Ave. Parking and Transportation Services will have barricades and signs at the Ramp to direct drivers to the correct route. Those staff members and fans that arrive after the street has closed will be forced to park elsewhere.
