Minnesota Head Coach Tim Brewster

General reaction
"Obviously we're pleased with the outcome. Our goal was to be 1-0 at the end of this game tonight, and that's exactly
what we are right now. I loved their style of play. We held the ball for almost 46 minutes, we ran the football just the
way we want to run the football, didn't turn the ball over and had very minimal penalties. It was a good performance
by our football team."

On John Hoese
"The story of the game is John Hoese. It's a story about a kid whose dad is gravely ill, and he played his heart out for
his father tonight. He scored three touchdowns, and we gave him the game ball. That game ball is going to go to
Terry Hoese. That's the storyline tonight, celebrating the love a son has for his father and the love a father has for his
son."

Middle Tennessee Head coach Rick Stockstill

Opening Statement
"It was a disappointing loss. I told them to look them (Minnesota) in the eye and not flinch and they did that. The
biggest difference in the game was we could not tackle consistently. We could convert first downs in the first half,
and we had two turnovers and they did not have any. We played well and we have a great team. I told them the same
thing last year after the Clemson game."

On time of possession
"They came here to run the ball. When they are as big as they are, they are going to control the clock. That was their
strength and they used it. We could not get the offense on the field a lot in the first quarter. They were able to break
tackles and keep drives going. In the first half, we were not able to convert in the first quarter."

On Logan Kilgore
"I think he was competitive. I like our offense. Logan did a nice job. He made some nice throws, but I thought he did a
nice job. He was unlucky on the interception off the screen pass. For his first college start he did not back down and
showed great toughness."
