Minnesota attempts to split the season series with rival Wisconsin when the two teams face each other for the second time in less than two weeks this evening. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. (CST) in Williams Arena.
The Gophers (8-10, 0-5 Big Ten) are coming off a tough 58-54 loss at Penn State last Thursday night, while the Badgers (9-9, 4-2 Big Ten) lost at Michigan, 75-59, on Sunday afternoon. Minnesota is 4-2 versus Wisconsin at The Barn during Pam Borton's tenure, but UW has won the past two games, including last season's 76-74 victory in double overtime.
Tonight's game will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network, with Marney Gellner calling the play-by-play and Mary Murphy adding color commentary. It also will be carried via radio on WCCO Radio (830 AM) and other selected stations on the Gopher Radio Network, with Corbu Stathes calling the play-by-play and Lynnette Sjoquist adding color analysis.
