Gophers Announce Spring Schedule

Fresh off their second Sweet Sixteen appearance in the last three years, the Gophers will open the spring schedule with the first-ever Gopher 7s competition on Saturday, Feb. 26. Over a dozen teams, spread from Division I to Division III, will compete in the event, which set to be held at the Bierman Indoor Field. More information about the Gopher 7s event will be released as the competition approaches.
After opening the season at home, the Gophers then head out on the road for their next three events. Minnesota takes on Missouri on Saturday, March 5 in Kansas City (Swope Park) before returning from Spring Break for an April 3 meeting against Wisconsin. The Gophers/Badgers spring game is set for a 2 p.m. start time and will be held at Dorais Field in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
Minnesota's final road competition of the spring will take place six days later on Saturday, April 9 when the Gophers compete in the Big 10/Big XII Spring Challenge in Lawrence, Kan. The inter-conference competition will pit the Gophers against both Kansas and Iowa State before the Gophers close out the spring schedule at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium on April 30 with a 1 p.m. matchup against North Dakota State.
