Gophers Announce Changes to Subway Classic Schedule

The University of Minnesota women's basketball team announced Friday afternoon that schedule changes have been made for this weekend's Subway Classic held at Williams Arena.
Due to high winds and a raging wildfire in Reno, the Nevada women's basketball team's flight to Minneapolis scheduled for Friday afternoon was cancelled, and has been rescheduled for Saturday morning. The Wolfpack is scheduled to arrive into MSP at 5 p.m., but whether their plane takes off on time, or at all, will determine the schedule for the weekend.
Scenarios for the tournament schedule are as follows:
A. Minnesota will still play Binghamtom at 1:00 p.m. Saturday as scheduled. This game will not change.
B. If Nevada arrives on time into Minneapolis, it will play North Dakota State at 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening.
C. If Nevada's flight is delayed and it does not arrive in time for the 8:00 p.m. contest, the game will be cancelled and will not be made up. Officials will not be able to determine whether the Wolfpack will arrive on time or not until at least 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
D. If Nevada arrives too late to play Saturday, but in enough time to play Sunday, then Binghamton will play North Dakota State at 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and Minnesota will face Nevada at 7:00 p.m.
E. If Nevada arrives in time to play the 8:00 p.m. game Saturday, the consolation and championship games will be scheduled for 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively.
F. If Nevada is not able to attend the Subway Classic at all, Minnesota will play North Dakota State Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 19th:
1:00 p.m. - Binghamton vs. Minnesota
8:00 p.m. - NDSU vs. Nevada
Sunday, November 20th:
4:30 p.m. - Consolation
7:00 p.m. - Championship
IF Nevada does not make it to Minneapolis
Saturday, November 19th:
1:00 p.m. - Binghamton vs. Minnesota
Sunday, November 20th:
2:00 p.m. - NDSU vs. Minnesota
IF Nevada can only play on Sunday
Saturday, November 19th:
1:00 p.m. - Binghamton vs. Minnesota
Sunday, November 20th:
4:30 p.m. - Binghamton vs. NDSU
7:00 p.m. - Minnesota vs. Nevada
