Gophers Head into Day Two at NCAAs

The Golden Gopher women’s swimming & diving team heads into day two at the 2011 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships today in Austin, Texas, in eighth place in the team standings. The NCAA meet runs through Saturday.
Each day will begin at 11 a.m. with the swimming prelims. Diving action begins at 1:30 p.m. with prelims. The finals session begins each night at 7 p.m.
The day-two NCAA schedule kicks off with the 200 medley relay. Other events contested on Friday are the 400 individual medley, the 100 butterfly, the 200 free, the 100 breast, the 100 back, 3-meter diving and the 800 free relay.

200 free relay: Hannah Whitehead, Jillian Tyler, Kaylee Jamison, Meagan Radecke
100 fly: Kaylee Jamison
200 free: Ashley Steenvoorden, Marissa Davies, Lauren Weis
100 breast: Jillian Tyler, Haley Spencer
1m diving: Kelci Bryant, Maggie Keefer
