Gophers Chase Their Best Finish in Final Day of NCAAs

The Golden Gopher women’s swimming & diving team heads into the third and final day at the 2011 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships in Austin, Texas, in eighth place in the team standings. The Gophers have scored 139 points, already the most Minnesota has scored at an NCAA Championships.
The day will begin at 11 a.m. with the swimming prelims. Diving action begins at 1:30 p.m. with prelims. The finals session begins at 7 p.m. Catch the final session live on ESPN3.com.
The day-three NCAA schedule kicks off with the 200 backstroke prelim. Other events contested on Saturday are the 1,650 free, the 100 free, the 200 breast, the 200 fly, platform diving and the 400 free relay.
