Tubby Smith to Lend Basketball Knowledge to BTN

University of Minnesota men's basketball coach Tubby Smith is scheduled to join the Big Ten Network as a guest analyst for this Wednesday and Thursday night editions of Big Ten Basketball & Beyond.
Wednesday's show, with Rick Pizzo, Mike Hall and Jim Crews, airs at 7:00 p.m. CT. while Thursday's show, with Pizzo, Dave Revsine and Jim Jackson, airs at approximately 11:30 p.m. CT, following that night’s Sweet 16 action.
Smith will join the cast to help break down the Big Ten’s chances in the Sweet 16. Wisconsin plays Butler on Thursday and Ohio State plays Kentucky on Friday.
Smith is one of eight coaches in history to take four different basketball programs to the NCAA Tournament (Tulsa: 1994-95, Georgia: 1996-97, Kentucky: 1998-2007 and Minnesota 2009-10).
Smith has made 16 career NCAA Tournament appearances. He has taken teams to the Sweet 16 on nine occasions and won the 1998 national championship at Kentucky.
In his four seasons at Minnesota, Smith has led the Golden Gophers to a pair of NCAA Tournament bids.
