The University of Minnesota women's basketball program continued its off-the-court success by having seven players named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Minnesota's honorees are Kiara Buford (Communication Studies); Kristen Dockery (Sport Management); Amber Dvorak (Youth Studies); Katie Loberg (Journalism); Brianna Mastey (Sport Management); Nicole Mastey (Recreation, Park & Leisure Studies); and Jackie Voigt (Sport Management).

During head coach Pam Borton's nine seasons, Minnesota's total of 59 Academic All-Big Ten honorees is the most of any Big Ten Conference women's basketball program.

Minnesota added the 2010 Fall semester to the list of terms where the Gophers compiled a team grade point average better than 3.0, as the Gophers accumulated a collective GPA of 3.121. Even more impressive is the team's cumulative GPA of 3.270. The Gophers have earned a 3.0 in every semester of Borton's coaching tenure.
