Minnesota Goes Undefeated in Spring Tournament

The Minnesota volleyball team went 4-0 in its final home tournament of the spring season at the Sports Pavilion on Saturday, Apr. 16.

Minnesota started off the day by defeating North Dakota and Iowa 2-0 in a pair of three-sets matches. The Gophers defeated North Dakota 25-16, 25-17 and won against the Hawkeyes 27-25, 25-20.

The Gophers also defeated North Dakota State in three sets by scores of 20-25, 25-19, 15-8, and finished off the tournament by defeating Wisconsin 25-22, 25-18.

Minnesota finished its spring season with a 9-1-2 overall record. The Gophers were 2-1 in the Iowa State Tournament, 3-0-2 at the Wisconsin Tournament and were 4-0 in their home tournament on Apr. 16.
