Minnesota-South Dakota State Game Postponed

The Minnesota-South Dakota State game scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 20 at 3:05 p.m. in Siebert Field has been postponed due to impending weather. That game will be moved to Tuesday, Apr. 26 at 3:05 p.m. in what will end up being a home-and-home against Jackrabbits on back-to-back days (Minnesota and South Dakota State are also scheduled to play in Brookings, S.D. on Wednesday, Apr. 27 at 3:05 p.m.).

It marks the seventh game this year that the Gophers have had cancelled or postponed due to weather. Minnesota's two-game series against Sacramento State was pushed back a day to due to rain, all three games against Santa Clara were canceled due to rain, the Gophers game against Cal Poly on Mar. 26 was canceled due to rain, the midweek game against Augsburg on Apr. 5 was canceled due to weather and the South Dakota State game has been moved back six days due to impending weather.

Minnesota will be in action next when it heads to Indiana on Apr. 22-24. The Gophers will face the Hoosiers on Friday, Apr. 22 at 2:05 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 23 at 12:05 p.m. and Sunday, Apr. 24 at 12:05 p.m.
