Bryant Top American, Third Overall, at Grand Prix

Minnesota’s Kelci Bryant finished third in the 3-meter springboard competition at the AT&T USA Diving Grand Prix on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Bryant was the top USA finisher, tallying 333.60 points. She will represent the U.S. at the FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China, in July.
Bryant scored over 63.0 on all five dives in the final round. She scored her highest mark on her final dive, a forward 2 1/2 somersault, 1 twist pike, nailing a score of 72.00.
China’s Zi He won the title with a score of 389.45, while Russia’s Anastasia Pozdriakova was second in 337.35.
