For the third consecutive year, a group of current NFL, college, even some local high school players and pro hopefuls are on the University of Minnesota campus to take part in an offseason training camp hosted by Minneapolis native and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

The players are taking part in the workouts consisting of speed work and conditioning drills under the direction of Bill Welle, who is a well known physical trainer for athletes. After the drills with Welle, the players took part in some of their own pass routes which involved the quarterbacks and wide receivers.

Former Golden Gopher Eric Decker, a wide receiver of the Denver Broncos, is also involved in the workouts with Fitzgerald.  Former Gopher tight end Matt Spaeth of the Pittsburgh Steelers, is also participating in this year's workouts.
