Harun Abda Earns Big Ten Runner of the Week Honors

Minnesota junior Harun Abda was named the Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at last weekend's Bill Bergan Invitational. Abda hit an NCAA Automatic Qualifying mark in the 800m after clocking in at 1:46.97. His time is also the fastest in the country currently and he ranks first on the all-time Minnesota list.

He also anchored the Gophers first place 4x400 Meter Relay team, which finished in first with a time of 3:09.93. Abda's split time was clocked at 45.8 seconds.
