Gophersports.com: If you could be on any reality show, which would it be?
Quentin Mege: I would be in The Jersey Shore to be with my friend Ronnie (aka Jon Lehman) all day long.
GS: Why did you choose Minnesota?
QM: I chose Minnesota for the coach and the academics.
GS: What song do you love to listen to but are embarrassed to admit it?
QM: Barefoot blue jeans night
GS: Do you have any pre-meet rituals/superstitions?
QM: Wearing short shorts
GS: What is your most embarrassing moment on the track?
QM: Never finishing a hurdle race even after several tries.
GS: What is the coolest thing you had in your bedroom growing up?
QM: My little brother.
GS: Describe your perfect day--who would you spend it with, what would you do, where would you be?
QM: In the south of France with a barbecue and some friends.
GS: Where is your favorite place on Minnesota's campus?
QM: The hammer throwing area.
GS: Do you have any nicknames?
QM: Q and Frenchy.
GS: What is your cellphone ring right now?
QM: Default T-Mobile ring.
GS: If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you want to have with you?
QM: One of my friends, a knife, my speedo.
GS: Favorite food?
QM: Thick beef rib with Béarnaise sauce.
GS: Which has been the biggest meet of your career?
QM: Under 20 European Championships.
GS: Where is the greatest place your sport has taken you?
QM: San Diego, CA.
GS: If you could trade places with Coach Thornton for a day, what would you do?
QM: Wearing shades inside or when it's cloudy and still looking cool.
GS: If you could trade places with Coach Reder for a day, what would you do?
QM: I would go to Annie's Parlour and order a salad and a half malt.
GS: When you were little, who was your favorite cartoon character?
QM: Gohan.
GS: If a movie was made about your life, what would the title be and who would play you?
QM: "Too French for you" starring any French actor with a thick accent.
GS: What's your theme song?
QM: Should have been a cowboy.
GS: Favorite pro sports team?
QM: Chambery Savoie (Handball).
GS: What is the first thing that you think of when you wake up in the morning?
QM: Crap, I don't have any milk left for breakfast.
