The Big Ten Conference announced today start times for two Gopher football non-conference games this fall.

The Sept. 8 home game against New Hampshire will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and will air on BTN. The game against the Wildcats is the home opener for the Gophers, as they begin their fourth season in TCF Bank Stadium.

The following week on Sept. 15, Minnesota will host Western Michigan and that game will also begin at 11 a.m. CT and will be broadcast on BTN.

The Gophers now have start times for six games in the 2012 season. Minnesota begins its 2012 campaign at UNLV on Aug. 30. That game will have a 10 p.m. CT start and will be shown on CBS Sports Network. Minnesota's home date with Syracuse on Sept. 22 will kick off in prime time at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on BTN.

Two start times for Big Ten games--at Iowa and against Northwestern--have also been announced. Minnesota will look to retain Floyd of Rosedale when it visits the Hawkeyes at 11 a.m. on Sept. 29. Minnesota then hosts the Wildcats for Homecoming at 11 a.m. on Oct. 13.

Television partners for the two Big Ten contests have yet to be announced. The games will air on ESPN, ESPN2 or BTN with the broadcast entity to be announced either 12 or six days prior to the contests.
