T-Shirt Sold to Support Oakes Family; Silent Auction Set for Saturday Nov. 10

On June 14th, Golden Gopher baseball pitching coach Todd Oakes went into the hospital and was later diagnosed with acute leukemia. As Oakes continues to fight this battle, members of Jordan Elementary School have designed t-shirts to show support.
The t-shirt holds a special statement on the back "Never Give Up...Never Give In TO". T-shirts are $10, while shipping is also $10 or can be picked up in Along with the t-shirt sales going directly to the Oakes family, a benefit/silent auction has also been added for Saturday, Nov. 10 in Jordan, Minn., at Ridges of Sand Creek Golf Course.
T.O. has provided a CaringBridge site that has over 26,000 visits since it was established in June.
