THE OPENING TIP - QUICK NOTES
• The Minnesota women's basketball team is set to make a trip to Bloomington, Ind., where it will face Indiana in its regular-season finale Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. CT.
• The game will be streamed live on Gophersports.com, as well as on the Big Ten Digital Network.
• Fans can also listen to the contest live on KBEM Jazz 88.5 FM or for free through Stetch Internet on Gophersports.com, with Corbu Stathes and Lynnette Sjoquist on the call.
• Minnesota enters the contest with a 17-12 overall record and a 6-9 league mark after defeating #7/7 Penn State, 89-81, Thursday night at Williams Arena.
• Indiana hosts the Gophers in the final regular-season game of the year with an 11-17 overall record and a 2-13 Big Ten record.
• Minnesota and Indiana will be meeting on the hardwood for the 59th time, with the Gophers leading the all-time series, 32-26.
• The Gophers are 14-13 when facing the Hoosiers on the road, which included wins in five of the teams' last seven meetings in Bloomington.
• After posting an impressive .667 field goal percentage vs. #7/7 Penn State on Thursday, Minnesota leads the Big Ten with a .446 field goal percentage, which also ranks 12th nationally.
• With her 23 points vs. Penn State on Thursday, Rachel Banham held on to her title as the Big Ten's leading scorer with a 21.2 points-per-game average.
• Along with leading the Big Ten in scoring, the sophomore guard also ranks 10th nationally in scoring average and is the top-scoring sophomore in the country.
• Junior Sari Noga is currently tied for the team lead with 50 three-pointers this season, which is more than double her total of 21 three-pointers last season.
• Over 70 percent of Noga's scoring has come from beyond the arch this season, as 150 of her 211 total points have been of the three-point variety.
• Micaëlla Riché has improved her scoring average by 7.3 points per game from her sophomore season and has more than doubled her 2011-12 total of 184 points.
• Minnesota is a perfect 5-0 this season when Riche scores at least 20 points, including a win vs. #7 Penn State.
