The Minnesota men's basketball team will host its annual media day on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and Gopher fans can join in the action even if they don't have a press pass. GopherSports.com will live stream a portion of the event, as the voices of Gopher Basketball, Mike Grimm and Spencer Tollackson, will co-host Media Day Live from the Barn.
The webstream is free and can be viewed through BTN2Go.
Grimm and Tollackson will be conducting live interviews with select Gopher players and head coach Richard Pitino, with the full schedule below. This year, fans will have the chance to ask their questions by tweeting with #AskTheGophers. Fan questions will be read on-air and answered by the Gophers. Video from head coach Richard Pitino's media day press conference will be available following the event.

Fans will have a chance to see the Gophers in action this Sunday as they host the annual Maroon and Gold - First Look Scrimmage at the Barn. The free scrimmage tips at 4:00 p.m. at Williams Arena, with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. More information on the scrimmage can be found by visiting http://z.umn.edu/mbbos.
The 2014-15 season gets underway officially on Friday, November 14 when the Gophers face Louisville in the Armed Forces Classic, taking place at Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen in Puerto Rico. Fans will have one other chance to catch the Gophers before the season when the team hosts Minnesota Duluth in an exhibition on Thursday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m.
