Cobb Accepts Senior Bowl Invitation

Cobb holds the school rushing record with 1,548 yards and counting. He broke Laurence Maroney's record in 275 carries, six fewer carries than Maroney took to set it in 2005. Cobb will have a chance to add to that record in Minnesota's bowl game. He has posted seven 100-yard rushing games this season, and has scored a team-high 13 touchdowns.
The Senior Bowl splits invitees into North and South rosters. The game will kick off at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., at 3 p.m. CT. It will air live on NFL Network.
David Cobb has accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl. The game will take place on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015.
This season's Senior Bowl will mark the second in a row with a Golden Gopher on the roster, as Ra'Shede Hageman played in the 2014 edition of the game. Cobb is Minnesota's 37th Senior Bowl selection overall.
