Gophers' Spartan Classic Schedule Revised

UNCG Spartan Classic Tournament Central

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Minnesota softball team's schedule at UNC-Greensboro's Spartan Classic has been changed due to rain in the area. The Gophers' Friday game against host UNCG has been canceled and the team will now play its lone game of the day at noon (CT) against George Washington.

The remainder of the team's games this weekend will remain unchanged. Saturday, Minnesota will face 2013 NCAA Tournament teams Army and Hampton at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. (CT), respectively. Competition wraps up Sunday with a 10:30 a.m. (CT) contest against the host Spartans.

Friday's slate at the tournament will feature just two games as UNCG will take on Army following the Gophers and the Colonials.
