Minnesota sent two players - Ra'Shede Hageman ( combine interview and profile page) and Brock Vereen (profile page) - to the recent NFL Combine and both those players turned in spectacular performances and helped their draft status.

Hageman, who is 6'6" and weighs 310 pounds, was a top performer in the bench press. He did 32 reps of 225 pounds, which ranked tied for third for defensive lineman. He also turned in an impressive 40-yard dash time of 5.02 and recorded a vertical jump of 35.5 inches, which was the highest for anyone who weighed more than 300 pounds. The third-team AP All-American notched a broad jump distance of 114.0 inches and did the three cone drill in 7.87 seconds.

Vereen, who like Hageman was a first-team All-Big Ten selection, led all defensive backs and safeties with 25 reps on the bench press. His 40-yard dash time of 4.47 was the second-fastest time among safeties. Vereen was measured with a 34.0 inch vertical jump and a broad jump of 117.0 inches.
