Gophers TV Broadcast Schedule Finalized

The Gophers' next appearance comes on Saturday, February 21, with an 11 a.m. tip-off against Wisconsin in Madison, broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2. The two teams will battle 12 days later on either ESPN or ESPN2, when they take the court at Williams Arena on Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m.
Minnesota will have nine non-conference games on an ESPN network. The Gophers open the season on ESPN against Louisville in the Armed Forces Classic (Nov. 14, 6 p.m.), and will host Western Kentucky in the NIT Season Tip-Off on ESPN3 (Nov. 18, 7 p.m.). Both of the Gophers' games at Madison Square Garden in the NIT Season Tip-Off will be on ESPNU or ESPN2, while the Maroon and Gold visit Wake Forest in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on ESPNU (Dec. 2, 6 p.m.).
Four non-conference home games will be broadcast by ESPN networks. The Western Carolina (Dec. 5, 6 p.m.), Southern (Dec. 10, 7 p.m.) and Furman (Dec. 22, 7 p.m.) contests will all be shown live on ESPN3, while the Gophers will host North Dakota on ESPNU (Dec. 8, 8 p.m.).
The Gophers' final regular-season game, at home against Penn State on March 8, is a wildcard game that will be broadcast on either CBS or Big Ten Network, which announced its schedule earlier this week.
The University of Minnesota men's basketball team will be featured 13 times on the ESPN family of networks, as the Big Ten Conference along with its network partners announced the full television broadcast schedule.
Four of the Gophers' Big Ten games will be featured on national TV on an ESPN network. Minnesota will hosts Ohio State (Jan. 6, 8 p.m.) on ESPN in the first Super Tuesday broadcast of the season, and will have its next game at Michigan (Jan. 10, 11 a.m./Noon) telecast live on ESPN or ESPNU.
