• Michigan has won back-to-back conference games, including a 73-64 win at Penn State on Tuesday.

• With 12 points on Tuesday against the Buckeyes, senior Andre Hollins surpassed the 1,500-point mark in his career, the seventh Gopher to do so. He is the only Gopher with 1,500 points and 300 career assists.

• Minnesota finished its non-conference schedule with an 11-2 record, including a perfect 9-0 mark at home. It is the fourth straight season the Gophers posted a perfect home non-conference record.

• The Gophers earned three B1G weekly awards in December: guard Nate Mason was named the Freshman of the Week (12/22), while the Gophers earned back-to-back Player of the Week awards: Andre Hollins (12/8) and Maurice Walker (12/15).

• As of Jan. 8, the Gophers are second nationally in steals per game (11.7) and assists (18.6) and fifth in turnover margin (+6.3) (B1G: 1st in all three). Senior Maurice Walker ranks ninth in the country in field goal shooting (63.2 percent) while senior DeAndre Mathieu is 10th nationally in steals per game (2.56).
