Minnesota's matchup with Michigan on Oct. 31 at TCF Bank Stadium has been moved to 6 p.m. CT and is set to be broadcasted on ESPN. The game has been moved up an hour from the original schedule that was released earlier this year.
The Gophers and Wolverines will both enter the contest after a bye week this week. Minnesota won last year's duel in Ann Arbor, Mich. by a score of 30-14. In that game, David Cobb rushed for 183 yards on 32 carries and Mitch Leidner went 14-for-22 for 167 yards and one touchdown (a 1-yard pass to Maxx Williams).
Minnesota held Michigan to just 88 yards through the air and forced two Wolverine turnovers. One of those was an interception by De'Vondre Campbell, which was taken back 30 yards to the house for six points.
The Gophers have won five primetime games under head coach Jerry Kill. The last night game victory came last season when Minnesota opened the 2014 season with a 42-20 drubbing of Eastern Illinois.
Minnesota and Michigan will battle for one of the most storied trophies in college football: The Little Brown Jug. The two teams will meet for the 102nd time in Minneapolis, Minn. on Halloween night.
