The new-look GopherSports.com
Beyond the visual redesign, which features larger, more prominent photo placement and easier navigation, the site is designed to work seamlessly across all user platforms. The responsive design ensures access to every feature of GopherSports.com, whether it be on desktop, tablet or mobile browsers.
At the top of the page, a new scoreboard and schedule ticker will allow "at a glance" functionality for live events in progress or recently completed, with links to live scoring along with other coverage.
The site is designed to load faster across all devices, particularly for mobile users. New content will be easier located for users, including a new video content module which shows all of the latest Gopher Digital Productions in one place. Individual sport pages will also see upgrades, including several creative customization options within the page. These areas are designed to showcase program achievements and accomplishments along with specialized recruiting and fan-oriented content.
A new Photo Galleries section within the site will feature thumbnails of all recently uploaded galleries in an easy-to-navigate and visually appealing manner.
Minnesota launched the new GopherSports.com on October 29, 2015, in conjunction with its official athletics website provider, CBS Interactive.
