Gopher Football Banquet Set for Nov. 29

The Minnesota football program will commemorate its 2015 season at its annual banquet, Sunday, Nov. 29. The banquet is set to take place at the Hilton Minneapolis and is hosted with the Goal Line Club.
The Golden Gophers will look back on the regular season and will distribute the team awards through a presentation. As is tradition, the passing of the torch from past captains will also take place. Newly-appointed head coach Tracy Claeys will be the keynote speaker.
The entire team, including players, coaches and staff will be in attendance.
Student-athletes who completed their eligibility this season on the gridiron will be recognized, including first-year players who will receive letter jackets.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. with a social hour to kick off the event. Both the meal and the program have been slated to begin at 12 p.m.
